Yahoo Growing Flickr into Photo Sharing Giant with 1TB free space

After the acquisition of Tumblr with $1.1 billion, Yahoo is not drawn end to its tech exploration. Recently Yahoo has declared to grow its photo sharing service provider, Flickr into much bigger and better platform to complete other parallel service providers doing same kind of business.
On 20th of May, 2013 Flickr in its official blog announce that 1TB free space will be provided to all its users. Now while uploading any snap from your smart phone or from your digital camera, you don’t have to worry about the cloud space. You can now upload images with full resolution and bigger size. That means, if you are uploading images having resolution 6.5 megapixels, approximately you can upload 537,731 images into your remote space. No other photo sharing providers at present, provide such a large space as Flickr.
Not only it has grown in size, but also it has modified its user interface. The photosteam is set in grid manner, along with lot new features, such as share the photos with other social networking sites such as Facebook, twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr email, feature to batch edit  your photos and a new tool bar having upload link, explore link to get the recent updates and lot more.

This new module also reflects in the mobile version of Flickr.  Flickr has developed new apps for iPhone and Android. You may enjoy this service in your smart phones, just download the apps from iTune and Google play store. You can easily upload your photos from your iPhone and Android phones from anywhere.
However the upgrade feature of Flickr is provided with two option, one is “Ad Free” and the other one is “Double your space”.  The feature of the “Ad Free” version of Flickr is same as that of the free version, just only the ads will be removed, for that you have to pay just $49.99 a year and if you want an additional 1TB space you may opt for the “Double your space” version of Flickr, and for that you have to pay $499.99 a year.
Thus, Flick is gearing up in a whole new form to meet more than the expectations of its users. Still we are looking forward to view more from the new CEO of Yahoo.
