Now a days, wide range of applications are used to remote control your system. Team Viewer is one of them, which provides simple and easy access, to perform the task. However in terms of security measures, Team Viewer is much more secure and flexible, as it not only provides desktop sharing feature, it is integrated with lot other features too, such as chat messenger, cam chat, VoIP, File sharing, VPN etc.
How Team Viewer works?
After you run the software, you will be able to view an ID along with randomly generated password of your system. If you want to share your own desktop with others then you have to share the ID and password generated by Team Viewer with your partner. Your partner will enter the ID and password and click on the “Connect to partner” button and will be able to share your desktop.
And in case you want to access your partner’s desktop, you need to have the ID and Password of your partner’s system. By entering the partner’s ID in the field provided and there after entering the password, you will be able to access his desktop.
The desktop sharing interface is somewhat like the snap provided above. While desktop sharing, the client need not have to be in logoff condition. Both the users can simultaneously access the same system. And simultaneously file sharing, Text chat as well as video and voice chat can be performed along with conferencing and meetings. For file sharing, no configuration or mapping is required for sharing of your system’s drive(s), the user can access the Hard Drive of the client and can edit, copy or paste any file from or to the client’s system. The system is very user friendly and requires no system or network configuration headache.
Team Viewer is free of cost for non-commercial use, however for commercial use its chargeable. Thus, overall Team Viewer is a very simple and flexible tool for desktop sharing and online file sharing, with lots of other excellent features.
TeamViewer application has also been developed for Android and iOS smart phones, which provides support to Android phones, Tablet PCs, Iphone and Ipad.
